FLOWER AND ITS CONNOTATION
Different flowers have different
meanings and they convey different messages.
Rose is a kind of flower that has different colours, each having its own
connotation. While a red rose epitomizes love and romance, a pink one refers to
affection and beauty. A white rose assumes the guise of harmony and peace
whereas a yellow one embodies friendship.
The marigold is used in many
Indian festivals, such as weddings. It portrays zest and creativity. In India,
the appearance of a marigold is often compared to the family of the in-laws
when a girl first marries. As there are many petals in the flower twisted one
over the other, a girl also unfolds various relationships in her new family
after marriage with time.
Orchids are decorative and
seasonal flowers that are often used in Christian weddings and they represent
charisma and allure.
The daffodil is also a seasonal flower that
